Join the celebration of the International Education Day 2023  

To celebrate the International Education Day 2023, the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC) invites to a webinar to analyze the main challenges, trends, and public policy mechanisms implemented by the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean since the beginning of the 21st century to democratize access to higher education. The document Progress towards SDG 4 in higher education: Challenges and policy responses in Latin America and the Caribbean will be launched on the occasion.

In the afternoon, the International Centre for UNESCO ASPnet (ICUA), UNESCO IESALC, and UNESCO’s Education 2030 Division, in collaboration with the UNESCO SDG4 Youth Network, invite to the event Transforming Education: Youth Dialogue on Innovative Learning, the first of a series of thematic dialogues with students from different regions to share experiences of transforming educational pedagogy through innovation. The dialogue will be held at the United Nations headquarters (New York) and will have on-site and online registration.
