#ChinaHE20 Conference Schedule

The China and Higher Education Network of the University of Manchester organises the #ChinaHE20 Conference Schedule from 7th to 11th December, 2020.
The China and Higher Education Network is an international network for researchers, scholars, and practitioners interested in a wide range of topics related to higher education in China and China’s role in the international higher education sector.
Major themes within the network include (but are not limited to):
- Chinese international students and scholars
- International students and scholars based in China
- The role of education in China’s knowledge diplomacy and international relations
- Higher education systems and programmes in China
- China’s role in the broader internationalisation of higher education
IESALC Policy Analyst, Emma Sabzalieva, will present a co-authored paper with Natalia Leskina from the Ural Federal University about Russia and China’s interest in higher education region building in Central Asia, and the responses of policymakers in Central Asia to these efforts in Session 6: Chinese international relations and higher education.
