2024 Forum on Sustainable Development Goals ‘Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization’

The University of Deusto and the United Nations Local2030 Coalition will hold the 2024 Forum on Sustainable Development Goals ‘Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization’, where representatives of the United Nations and the different territorial administrations, as well as leading international researchers and academics, will address substantive aspects of the 2030 Agenda: a) the challenges of localisation of the global agenda of the SDGs; b) how to strengthen the contribution of universities to the design of public policies.
Reflecting the six key transitions identified by the United Nations, the forum will be divided into four panels: Quality education; Inequality and social protection; Digital transformation and artificial intelligence; and Climate action and transition of energy and food systems.
Yuma Inzolia, Director of Capacity Development at UNESCO IESALC, will participate with the presentation ‘Quality education for all’, on 22 October 2024, at 10 am, in the Auditorium of the University of Deusto.
