Gender equity in universities

During Peru’s Innovation Week 2022, which will take place from June 20 to 23, a session organized by the Pro-Women in Science, Technology and Innovation Committee of the National Council of Science and Technology (Concytec) will address “Gender Equity in Universities”.
This plenary session will include the participation of Victoria Galán Muros, Head of Research and Analysis at UNESCO IESALC, who has led research on gender equality in higher education institutions around the world.
Also participating will be Fabiola León-Velarde, former president of Concytec and former rector of UPCH; Giofianni Peirano Torriani, President of the National Center for Strategic Planning (Ceplan); Patricia Campos Olazabal, President of the National Center for Strategic Planning (Ceplan). Moderator: Josefina Takahashi Sato.
The Innovation Week is aimed at the public and private sectors, academia and the general public, who will be able to participate in the live streamings through the official Concytec website, which will also have the simultaneous participation of sign language interpreters.
