21 October 2024 hora: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Better Innovation, Better Outcome (BIBO) Network convenes to the webinar “The role of education and youth’s contribution to the eradication of poverty”, the first of the Series: BIBO NETWORK Peer-to-peer webinars (2024-2025), that connects youth leaders in transforming higher education aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The first webinar of the series will be presented by Ms. Zalanda Muhai Ahmadzai, who is a member of the 2024-2025 BIBO Network cohort, a Master of Public Policy, Socio and Economic Policy and Project Expert and works as a Project Officer in the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). This session will address the role of education and youth’s contribution in eradication of poverty, connected to the UN Day International Day for the Eradication of Poverty held annually on 17 October.
The BIBO Network was initiated by UNESCO IESALC in 2023 as part of its institutional youth strategy, which includes webinars to advocate for the work on the SDGs. Each session will feature network members sharing their expertise and experiences connected to their roles as young leaders engaged in social transformation. They will discuss with their peers how to contribute to the advancement of the 2030 Agenda, and the success stories and challenges in their initiatives addressing pressing social issues at different levels and areas of intervention.
