2024 Forum on Sustainable Development Goals ‘Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization’

The University of Deusto and the United Nations Local2030 Coalition will hold the 2024 Forum on Sustainable Development Goals ‘Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization’, where representatives of the United Nations and the different territorial administrations, as well as leading international researchers and academics, will address substantive aspects of the 2030 Agenda: a) the challenges of localisation of the global agenda of the SDGs; b) how to strengthen the contribution of universities to the design of public policies.

Reflecting the six key transitions identified by the United Nations, the forum will be divided into four panels: Quality education; Inequality and social protection; Digital transformation and artificial intelligence; and Climate action and transition of energy and food systems.

Yuma Inzolia, Director of Capacity Development at UNESCO IESALC, will participate with the presentation ‘Quality education for all’, on 22 October 2024, at 10 am, in the Auditorium of the University of Deusto.

La Universidad de Deusto y la Coalición Local2030 de Naciones Unidas celebrarán el 2024 Forum on Sustainable Development Goals “Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization”, donde representantes de las Naciones Unidas y las distintas administraciones territoriales, así como destacados investigadores y académicos internacionales,  abordarán aspectos sustantivos en la Agenda 2030: a) los retos de la localización de la agenda global de los ODS; b) cómo afianzar la contribución de la universidad al diseño de políticas públicas.

Reflejando las seis transiciones clave identificadas por Naciones Unidas, el foro distribuirá sus ponencias y mesas en cuatro paneles: Educación de calidad; Desigualdad y protección social; Transformación digital e inteligencia artificial; y Acción climática y transición de los sistemas energéticos y alimentarios.

Yuma Inzoila, Directora de Desarrollo de Capacidades en UNESCO IESALC, participará con la ponencia “Educación de calidad para todos”, el día 22 de octubre de 2024, a las 10 am, en el Paraninfo de la Universidad de Deusto.
