Webinar I: Public Consultation CRES+5 – Axis 1: Higher education as part of the education system

In preparation for the Regional Conference on Higher Education follow up (CRES+5), scheduled for March 13-15, 2024 in Brasilia, we invite networks, higher education institutions, stakeholders and other actors involved in higher education to join the various virtual Public Consultations.

The first public consultation of AXIS 1, under the title “Higher education institutions and their relationship with the education system: realities and challenges”, will be held on October 20, 2023, at 11:00 am Mexico and Central America | 2:00 pm Brazil, Argentina and Chile. During this event, a fruitful dialogue will be opened with government authorities and higher education leaders from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile. The Undersecretaries of Higher Education of Mexico and Chile, and the Academic Secretary of Educational Innovation of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral of Argentina will participate. The discussion will be presented and moderated by Axel Didriksson, senior researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and coordinator of the UNESCO Chair on University and Regional Integration and President for Latin America and the Caribbean of The Global University Network for Innovation (GUNI).

En preparación para la Conferencia Regional de Educación Superior (CRES+5), programada del 13 al 15 de marzo de 2024 en Brasilia, convocamos a las redes, instituciones de educación superior, grupos interesados y demás actores involucrados en la educación superior a sumarse a las diferentes Consultas Públicas virtuales.

La primera consulta pública del EJE 1, bajo el título “Instituciones de educación superior y su relación con el sistema educativo: realidades y desafíos”, se llevará a cabo el 20 de octubre de 2023, a las 11:00 h México y Centroamérica | 14:00h Brasil, Argentina y Chile. Durante este evento, se abrirá un diálogo fructífero con las autoridades gubernamentales y los líderes de la educación superior de México, Brasil, Argentina y Chile. Participan los Subsecretarios de Educación Superior de México y Chile, y el Secretario Académico de Innovación Educativa de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral de Argentina. La discusión será presentada y moderada por Axel Didriksson, investigador titular de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) y coordinador de la cátedra UNESCO Universidad e Integración Regional y Presidente para América Latina y el Caribe de The Global University Network for Innovation (GUNI).
